    Abraham Mignon, (born June 21, 1640, Frankfurt am Main [Germany]—died 1679, Wetzlar or Frankfurt am Main), German Baroque still-life painter. Mignon studied with the still-life painter Jacob Marrel, who took him to Holland about 1660. Mignon then worked with Jan de Heem at Utrecht, where he joined the Guild of St. Luke in 1669.
