The peaceful purpose-built studio where Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) painted his 'Grandes Baigneuses'. In 1901, Paul Cézanne bought land on the chemin des Lauves, in his home town of Aix-en-Provence, with the intention of constructing a dedicated studio. It was based on the other side of town from the family farm, the Jas de Bouffan.
