About the Artist Amelia Briggs (b. 1985) is an artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Amelia creates soft sculptures and prints on silk that evoke the nostalgic and distorted memories of childhood. Borrowing the language of rounded and simplified forms from cartoons, Amelia’s works are at once familiar and alien.
