    Raised on a small farm outside of Paris, Arkansas, George Dombek received his bachelor's degree in architecture (1974) and a Master's of Fine Arts in Painting (1975) from the University of Arkansas. Dombek went on to teach architecture and art at universities in Arkansas, Ohio, Florida, Saudi Arabia, and Italy. Dombek donated two paintings to the University of Arkansas Libraries.
