Jun 02, 2016 · Starting at iOS 8 only squared cover art are shown on iOS devices (except AppleTV). I use an app called "MetaTV" that's available in the appstore. It utilizes SQUARE cover art, and all of my TV episodes when rendered through this meta-data tagging app show up on my iPhone 6+ with coverart, everytime -- as long as you select "square" coverart.
