Although Davis has appeared on several albums as a side person, she didn't record as a leader until 2000, when her inaugural album, Dream Shoes, was released on the Southport label.This session is a fortuitous array of blues, Motown, gospel and standards all wrapped up in a jazz setting. Davis continues to perform at jazz festivals, tour and work at Joe's Be-Bop Café.
