Jan 22, 2021 · I hit the trail at 10:40 am and was at the top of Artist Point 12:00 noon. I was surprised at how quickly I made it up there. There were lots of people on the trail, as it was a beautiful blue-bird day on the mountain. Everyone was super polite and followed trail etiquette.

Jan 31, 2021 · Artist Point Snowshoe Trail. Artist Point Snowshoe Trail departs from the Mt. Baker Ski Area parking lot and follows a groomed trail up a ski-boundary. From the trailhead, continue up the groomed trail for a half-mile and then head uphill toward Austin Pass. The snowshoe trail climbs steadily from this point onward.

Dec 30, 2020 · Artist Point Snowshoe In spite of that, I still got a really nice snowshoe in, and was headed out by 10am. Since the road to Artist Point is closed, you have to park at the Heather Meadows base area to start off, like the hiking guide entry above says.
