Artists are placed in the Chugach or Tongass National Forests or in the Western Arctic National Parklands. Residencies open to art professionals in all media – visual artists, musicians, singers, composers, filmmakers and writers. Residency dates vary, but typically they are hosted June through September, lasting 7-9 days. No application fee.
