Sep 01, 2011 · The trip took us through portions of Arkansas, Missouri, across Iowa into South Dakota. We had a wonderful adventure filled with miles of beautiful scenery and interesting stops along the way. The occasion for the trip was the annual Artist Ride which I had been invited to attend. The Artist Ride, began in 1984 as an actual trail ride.

For those of you that wondered where we get our references for 18th and 19th century paintings, one of the places is Artist Ride. It is by invitation only to 50 of the top western artists in the country.
