Sonja Hinrichsen. Sonja Hinrichsen creates large-scale snow drawings that transform winter landscapes into poetic celebrations of nature. With a pair of snowshoes and the help of local volunteers, Hinrichsen imprints her dynamic drawings into freshly fallen snow. These drawings are ephemeral by design and comprised of forms that are reminiscent of glyphs created by aboriginal peoples.
