Mar 17, 2006 · The embroidery module only works with the 165/170/180 series machine. Just so you know. But found the embroidery on my 165 fantastic. Using a Keyspan HS19 USA serial to USB adaptor you can connect your machine directly to a modern windows 10 computer using Artlink to upload any Embroidery designs 100,000 stitches or less.

I have a Artista 180 with the embroidery module. It's been a good machine but mine needs to go in for servicing, my main machine is a newer 350pe, small but mighty. I think a 5 series machine is on my radar for my next machine purchase to replace my 180.
