Oct 09, 2014 · In Artisteer the drop-down menu is working properly, but when I upload the template to Joomla! 1.5, the sub-items do not show. Instead, I see the categories' and articles' titles that are supposed to show as subitems in the menu, show in the main bloc as a list or blog (depending on the type I assign to it).

Apr 06, 2011 · Make sure you go to the module settings for the menu (MODULE SETTINGS, not the menu settings), in JOOMLA, and that "Always show sub menu items" is set to "Yes." If that module setting isn't changed (default is "No"), the sub-menu items will not be activated.

Nov 18, 2012 · Well, I had this same problem, and lo-and-behold it was also the case-sensitive nature of the URL. With "Administrator" I get no drop down menus; however, with "administrator", I do. I would classify this as a major bug.

Even if your menu links are set up correctly, it's possible that menu module is set to not show dropdown links. Go to Extensions > Module Manager and search for your "Main Menu" module. It may have a slightly different name, but it's likely to have a name similar to "Main Menu" or "Top Menu". Open the module and check two things:
