American Eagle by Artistic Carving Company of Boston, Massachusetts. Circa 1950’s. 48” wide x 17 ½” tall x 4 ¾” deep. It is carved pine with paint and gold leaf finish. This fierce American eagle has a banner proclaiming; “Live and Let Live” in it’s beak and clutches a stylized red, white and blue shield and a cluster of arrows.
