Aug 15, 2007 · I’ve tried these both, and they work; you loose a bit more paper at each edge than you would from tape or staples, but the paper remains well-stretched, as a rule (I’ve once or twice had a few ripples with the Leahy stretcher, but they’re minor; nothing like as bad as with taped or stapled papers). The problems are: Cost and limited sizes.
