Jan 16, 2013 · The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Even before they started making terrible, auto-tuned mom-rock, they were still a terrible live band, at least from all the times I saw them perform on TV (and there were many in the 90's). Kings Of Leon, opening for U2 in 2005, are still the worst band I've ever had the misfortune of having to sit through (5 times).

Anthony Kiedis from Red Hot Chili Peppers is an example from the rock world of a singer who sounds quite bad live. Singer Robert Plant's voice was sore from playing three solo shows in the nights before Live Aid, guitarist Jimmy Page was handed a guitar that hadn't been tuned properly, and Phil Collins was added as a second drummer at the last minute and was noticeably unfamiliar with the material.
