Baxter State Park adds a new trail to its network! Located outside of the park in Mt. Chase Maine, visitors will be able to hike on a parcel of land that is home to a unique stand of Norway Spruce. The area was acquired by the park back in April 1972 and will serve to educate visitors on exemplary forestry, tree id and the history of the area.
