The Bernina Artista 180 was a great deal! Threading this machine isn't difficult but you have to make sure it is done properly. You have to make sure the thread (upper and lower is seating in guides properly or you will get a thread nest under the fabric. I have practiced threading several times and I have had no trouble sewing with it.4.7/5(38)

Jul 28, 2010 · I have for sale a bernina artista 185 sewing/embroidery machine. Bought new in 2003 it has only 13hrs. use on it. Bought for a business, business fell thru. Machine works great, comes with 35+spools of thread, large and small emb. hoops. A mini magic box plus and card to download software off internet to embroider. Various feet 10+ or so.

The embroidery is brilliant, the machine just purrs away on any material, and uses any brand of thread.The machine is a cinch to learn and has on screen help button for checking stuff too. The software is really good and easy to work with for digitising your own
