Nov 20, 2007 · I have a 1939 Blessing Artist trumpet which is one of my all time favorites. Very broad range and it does not seem to require as much air as its bore size would indicate it would. I wish I could remember what the Super cornet was like and why I did not keep it, but.... almost 60 and an enthusiastic participant in the 60's scene so my memory is partly broken.

About This Listing. This is one great sleeper horn. This York Custom is a stencil of the famous Blessing Super Artist (Clifford Brown played a SA). .468 bore but feels like a ML to me. Really great playing trumpet and this one is in fine original shape. Some lacquer wear of course but no dents or dings. The finger buttons are a bit strange.
