Brad Story. I am a native of Essex, Massachusetts and a seventh-generation boat builder. I have an art degree from Kenyon College and have sculpted and modeled all my life, including building over 50 boats—all made of wood combined with various composite materials—during my 30-year shipyard career. In 2000, I decided to devote myself exclusively to sculpture.
