Artist in Batik. The Wharf Gallery fills the upper floor of a beautiful 17C barn on the banks of the Llangollen Canal near Whitchurch, Shropshire. On display in this stunning space, is a unique collection of my original framed and back-lit Batik paintings and hand-made lampshades.. The gallery is also my working studio where I create new pieces, now mostly to commission.

Recognised as one of Britain’s foremost Batik artists, Buffy Robinson started experimenting with Batik at the age of fourteen while still at school. After several successful exhibitions in the early seventies in the south of England where she was brought up, Buffy moved north to Lancashire.
