    Carl Grupp: A contemporary American painter, lithographer and etcher, Carl Grupp studied art at the School of Associated Arts, St. Paul (1959), Minneapolis College of Art and Design (BFA, 1969-1964), Vrije Academie, The Hague, Holland (1965) and Indiana University, Bloomington (MFA, 1967-1969). At the latter university he served as a teaching assistant with Rudy Pozzatti and Marvin Lowe.
