The cottages at Dodford are within the Dodford conservation area and, indeed, form its nucleus. In March 1976 the Bromsgrove District Council served building preservation notices on the owners and occupiers of six of the Chartist cottages in Dodford and asked my right hon. 1300the buildings for inclusion in the statutory list.
