David is an artist based in Leeds in West Yorkshire. Working in different mediums, he specialises in figurative sculpture. Using stone, these are mostly a celebration of the human form. In addition, David has a portfolio of paintings (in oils) and drawings in pencil, ink and charcoal.

David's sculpture is heavily influenced by his life drawing, a few examples of which are shown below. He and his wife Anne run a life drawing group, Bare Canvas, which runs every Tuesday, upstairs at The Fenton pub on Woodhouse Lane, close to the University in Leeds from 8 until 10pm.
