Dec 15, 2016 · The supreme artist of game fish, David Mellor, was born in 1954 in Lancashire and today he lives in Tasmania. He is famous for drawing marine creatures, but he also draws landscapes, nudes, portraits and more. Since he was a little boy, he displayed a talent of drawing and painting and he always made the best paintings in his class.

David was elected International Billfish Organisation Artist of the Year in 2001, and had a highly successful one-man show at the International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame in Ft. Lauderdale. His work is represented is in the collections of President George Bush Senior, Conrad Black, ex-President Suharto and private buyers in Australia, the USA and Great Britain.
