Erica Rosenfeld uses glass, found materials, beads, and food to create sculpture and jewelry, which remain her primary mode of expression. She began beading at the age of five, from which she realized a consistent impulse to create cohesive, sometimes incongruous, mosaics from smaller components.

Erica Rosenfeld Erica Rosenfeld began beading as a child. Today, she makes components that she sews together with beads to make kinetic jewelry and wall tapestries. Her work has been featured in publications and exhibitions nationwide.

Rosenfeld received a BA in Fine Art from Kenyon College. She is the co-founder of the performance collective Burnt Asphalt Family with whom she has performed throughout the United States including at the Corning Museum of Glass, the Chrysler Museum of Art and UrbanGlass.
