Frederick Joseph Ross (1927-2014), born and died in Saint John, New Brunswick. In 1944, he began his art studies with Ted Campbell at the Saint John Vocational School, then in 1949, studying in Mexico, returning there once more a year later, where he met artist Diego Riviéra.
