Members are accepted into the Farmington Art Foundation simply for their love of the visual arts and a desire to participate with other artists. All are welcome to attend meetings and join the club. There is a yearly membership fee of $40.

The Farmington Art Foundation, previously known as the Farmington Art Club, was founded in 1965 with membership growing to over 100 members including regular and associate members. The first Senior Painting Classes were started in 1975 through a grant from the Michigan Council for the Arts.

Our summer art show was part of the Founders Festival in downtown Farmington from July 20 – 22, 2018. Our big yellow and white striped tent was located behind the Masonic Temple at the Northwest corner of Farmington Road and Grand River. We had approximately 20 members displaying their work. The Cultural Arts Division works closely with the Farmington Area Arts Commission to promote the arts in our community.
