Biography. Describing herself as a floral artist, Fiona Craig paints still lifes of blooming flowers with finely textured petals, leaves, and pollen that reflect her intense attention to detail. Though some of her works, such as Waratahs and Pomegranates, reveal an affinity with Dutch and Spanish nature morte painters of the 16th and 17th centuries, most of her paintings are more scrutinizing, resembling film close-ups.Nationality: Australian
