Frederick Harcourt, was born at Ipswich on 15 March and baptised at St Matthew's church, Ipswich on 16 April 1794, son of John Harcourt (1767-1846), a gun maker, and his wife Mary Ann née Barker. Frederick married at St Mary le Tower Church, Ipswich on 18 December 1821, Mary Ann née Pipe, who died on 7 January 1866, aged 65.
