FUSION TEXTILE ARTISTS. In 2000 Fusion Textile Artists was established to provide a forum for a group of textile artists who share common interests. Regular meetings give opportunities to discuss each other’s work and obtain constructive criticism and mutual mentoring. A regular feature is an annual residential weekend at which a nationally acclaimed tutor leads the group in design approaches.

Textile Artists Fusion. The Fusion group was formed in 2000 and held it’s first exhibition in 2002. Members are from a broad range of backgrounds and ages but have a common goal, to develop their own work with integrity and honesty and to pass on their enthusiasm for textiles and the stitched surface to others, particularly in the North East where they live.
