George found his talent as an artist, at age 13, in 1934. He started with colored pencils, and has now become an accomplished water-colorist. His love for the world around him encourages him to paint what he and others see in everyday life - animals, children, flowers, sports figures, scenery and of course his favorite subjects, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the colorful German Village.
