Background. Originally created in 2003 by artist George Rodrigue to benefit Louisiana Artworks, a project of the Arts Council of New Orleans. In 2018, the New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) purchased the Artworks building, which is located in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, and acquired the Louisiana Artworks prints created by Rodrigue.
