He also exhibited a still life at the Royal Academy and two works at Suffolk Street. Influenced by Edward Ladell, Todd’s paintings are similar to Ladell’s but painted in a harder, shinier style.

His father, Arthur Todd, owned a large decorating business which specialised in ceilings and murals, most of his work was executed in West Suffolk.
