Apr 13, 2016 · We recommend GAC 400 (applied directly onto the raw canvas) for artists who want a stiffer linen or cotton canvas than what one would get with another acrylic or PVA size, but not as stiff as Rabbit Skin Glue size. Once the GAC 400 is dried we recommend another two layers of either GAC 100 or Fluid Matte Medium, or three coats of Acrylic Gesso.
