Hope Ginsburg is a project-based artist whose work emphasizes community, cooperation, and shared learning through participatory art. For each new project, Ginsburg learns a new skill – such as beekeeping, vermiculture, scuba diving, wool felt-making- through informal apprenticeships and the initiation of relationships.

Hope Ginsburg grew up outside of Philadelphia and received her BFA in Sculpture from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA. After attending the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, ME, she moved to New York City, where for the next eight years, she produced researched-based installations and performances.
