    Mar 29, 2008 · The AR-50 Artist from the early 80's (any Artist from the 1978-1982/83 range) is a well built guitar. I have an AR-50 (1980 version of the same guitar you showed) and would say the price range for those in the US is more like $350 (for a beater) to $450. Money well spent if you're looking for a nice, heavy LP style guitar on the cheap.
