Currently playing with a DiMarzio Super Distortion Bridge and a PAF Pro neck in my '84 Ibanez Artist AR100. Moving away from the Metal madness into a milder, jazzy blues tone. The Super 58s used to be the original Ibanez Artist pickups but I have forgotten how they sounded like.

Oct 15, 2014 · Update, I bought a 1983 Ibanez RS1000 with the orginal "Maxon" super 58 pickups in it. A friend of mine is going to wire them to have four wires, install four push/push control pods. The two volume knobs will also serve to split the coils from humbuckers to single coil and the two tone knobs will serve to change the two pickups from series to parallel.
