Activate the newly designed Themler theme in Wordpress Admin and import the OLD content from the old Artisteer theme into the new theme. Check it works. End result to be a similar colour scheme and layout but with some of the new Themler features integrated.

Apr 12, 2012 · I'm also a 20+ years professional programmer with experience in many areas, and I'm extremely interested in this import feature, and looked at Artisteer .artx (= .zip) files, and at Joomla templates, e.g. the "beez_20" template, and my impression is that such an import feature would be extremely difficult to program.

And while I certainly agree that it isn't possible for Artisteer to understand all CSS/PHP/HTML and what have you not, out there that people mocked up and then want to edit in Artisteer, I would certainly expect it not to be too difficult for Artisteer to import it's own exported .zip files since it only has to reverse its own actions and syntax.
