Jackie Stevenson was born in Toronto, Canada, but grew up in Hong Kong, Africa, England and Malaysia. On returning to Toronto, Jackie did a term at the Ontario College Art but decided (in order to pay the bills!) to pursue a career in journalism. Upon graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in English Literature, Jackie worked in television and radio in Toronto and Hong Kong.

About the Artist. I was born and educated in Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow. I graduated with a DA in Drawing and Painting from Glasgow School of Art and went on to gain a teaching qualification from Jordanhill College of Further Education.
