James Behlke earned his BFA in Printmaking from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) in 1982 and his MFA in Painting from the University of Southern California in 1984. His works have appeared in solo and group exhibitions in the Alaska State Museum, the Anchorage Museum, the Visual Arts Center of Alaska, the Fairbanks Arts Association, and the University of California Lindhurst Gallery.
