A nationally known artist, Janet Richardson-Baughman earned her BFA from central Michigan University and received an MFA in ceramics from Indiana State University in 1977. After teaching art classes in college for a period, she opened a studio and expanded her media to include encaustic, pastels, mixed media, collage and oil painting.
