Janet Halligan graduated from Stourbridge College of Art in 1970. She lived and worked on the South Coast until 1984 when she set up a workshop near Nantwich. Trompe I'oeil ceramics such as bags and shoes are slab-built and glazed using a range of stoneware glazes and metal lustres.
