Jo Beer is a full time artist whose work is mostly figurative with a few floral oil paintings. She loves to paint people, old, young, unconventional, and conventional. Painting total strangers is a fascinating experience for her as spending time with them (however short that may be) allows her to ‘pick away’ at the surface, and a piece of their character inadvertently shines through during the painting process.
