Joan Painter Jones works with whatever materials that inspire her. She has worked with watercolor, oils, and acrylics on paper, on gauze, woven cloth, and with newspaper scraps. She has also created textures and images in collages on paper, wood, and canvas, and assemblages from found objects and clay. “My work is not political, but personal.”
