Biography. Inspired by the expressive power of his medium and its history, Joseph Lorusso produces emotionally evocative oil on canvas paintings. His childhood trips to Italy, where he was exposed to the Old Masters and the country’s rich artistic heritage, sparked his interest in art. He initially studied watercolor painting and later switched to oils, teaching himself how to work with the latter material.Nationality: American
