About the Artist. Karen Tarlton was born in 1965 in Riverside, California. During childhood, her family moved frequently, finally settling in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Even as a child, Karen saw beauty in everything and spent many hours drawing and painting the world around her.

Karen Tarlton. Karen Tarlton began her career as an artist 23 years ago when her husband started his work as an F-16 pilot and test pilot for the United States Air Force.
