Kevin Beers studied art at SUNY New Paltz with Monhegan artist Alex Minewski and at the Art Students League with Robert Angeloch. He spent fourteen years working as an art director for a major New York advertising agency before committing himself to painting full time. Since 1993, Beers has visited and painted the village of Monhegan each summer.
