I helped found a small artist cooperative in Qualicum, joined the Federation of Canadian Artists and began to paint full time. This led to numerous awards, and signature status with the FCA. My first love was the magical medium of watercolour.

The iPad is the perfect combination of art and technology. I create a digital painting in much the same way I do a "traditional" painting, starting with a blank "canvas" and building up layers of brush marks and colour. I then print them (or have them printed) on Arches watercolour paper. The end product is nothing short of spectacular!
