A textile group whose aims are to produce exciting and innovative work using fibres, threads, yarns, fabrics and beads in a variety of techniques. The Living Threads Group was formed in 1982. It has evolved into a group of more than 50 artists. An exhibition of members work is staged at Trent College, Long Eaton, Nottingham every two years.

Following studies of tapestry, Navajo, rigid heddle, and floor loom weaving, she developed her own signature style in response to personal loss.
