Lori Nix is an American photographer whose visions of the apocalypse resulted in amazingly detailed photographs of chaotic or abandoned worlds and strange, mutant flora and fauna. The artist spends time in her Brooklyn studio meticulously building dioramas that mimic tiny worlds on the verge of destruction, made of paper, cardboard and foam and she paints them over in an unbelievably realistic way.
